IN THE MATTER OF FBME BANK LTD (UNDER LIQUIDATION) SUBMISSION OF CLAIMS BY DEPOSITORS AND OTHER CREDITORS
The Deposit Insurance Board (DIB) which is the Liquidator of FBME Bank Limited, hereby gives notice to the depositors and other creditors of FBME Bank Limited (under liquidation), that the time for submission of claims has been extended for two months i.e. from 1st January to 29th February 2024 and that:
- Local depositors with deposits above TZS 1.5 million are required to submit their respective claims against the said bank to DIB, the Liquidator of FBME BANK LIMITED by delivering a dully completed claim form along with a copy of National ID or any other valid ID at FBME BANK LIMITED former branch, Samora Avenue, Dar es Salaam; Bank of Tanzania Sub-Head office in Zanzibar or Bank of Tanzania branches in Mwanza and
- The claim forms are available at FBME BANK LIMITED former branch, Samora Avenue, Dar es Salaam (TSN building); Bank of Tanzania Sub-Head office in Zanzibar or Bank of Tanzania branches in Mwanza and Arusha as well as DIB website (dib.go.tz ).
- International depositors (TIB depositors) are required to submit their claims to Mr. Petros Ionnides, the DIB’s appointed agent in Cyprus. Mr. Petros’ guidance on submission of their claims can be found on the bank’s website (com) and any enquiries can be submitted via electronic mail at customer.service@fbme.com or by post to 3 Agiou Prokopiou street, 2406 Engomi, Nicosia, Cyprus or to PO Box 25566, 1391 Nicosia, Cyprus.
